Complex treatment can involve many aspects of dentistry. Most involve a combination of implants, crown and bridge, precision attachments, and precision removable dentures to provide the patient with superior esthetics, and partial and complete dentures that are secure and extremely retentive. No more visible clasps and partial and complete dentures that stay in place. We typically use "Locator Attachments" to attach precision dentures to implants and "ERA Attachments" to connect precision partial dentures to permanent crowns and bridges. Learn More>>
We are a MERCURY FREE office. We use composite and porcelain materials that actually help support the tooth structure. Old silver fillings expand over time and can lead to fractured teeth. Especially is those individuals who grind or clench their teeth. Besides the cosmetic advantage, composites and porcelain are bonded to the tooth structure helping to prevent fractured teeth. We use cad-cam technology to image, design, and fabricate porcelain restorations while you wait! When too much tooth structure is missing, we will recommend porcelain crowns which completely cover the remaining tooth structure. Learn More>>
Currently we are using zirconium for our crowns. Zirconium is incredibly strong and recent technology has allowed the lab to fabricate amazingly beautiful, life like restorations. Crowns are typically used to restore a tooth's function and appearance when the existing restoration is too large to be restored with composite materials. It is also commonly used after root canal treatment has been completed on a posterior tooth. It is also used when the amount of decay is so great that too much of the original tooth structure is missing. Sometimes crowns are used specifically for cosmetic procedures on mal-positioned, stained or malformed teeth. Learn More>>
